3. ORDER PROCESSING AND DELIVERY TIMES
Orders will be processed within 24 hours of receiving your order. When your order has been placed, a confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email address.
The order will commence once your payment has cleared into our bank account.
Once the order is commenced please allow 4 weeks for manufacture of your order. We will inform your once manufacturing is completed and the order is ready for shipment.
Sometimes we require email or written confirmation of your delivery address.
Orders are shipped Monday to Thursday. Metro deliveries will arrive within 1-2 business days from the date of shipment, regional deliveries may take an additional 2-5 days, International deliveries will take an additional 2-6 days. We use the fastest delivery method to your delivery address. HOWEVER PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO CURRENT COVID RESTRICTIONS AND LOCKDOWNS DELIVERY MAY TAKE LONGER AND DELAYS MAY OCCUR DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL IF WE ANTICIPATE ANY DELAYS.
4. RECEIVING YOUR ORDER
Once your order has been shipped a unique tracking number will be sent to your nominated email address. You can track your order by clicking on the link provided in the shipping email.
All deliveries must be signed for. Ensure that you/a person nominated by you will be available to sign for the delivery between 9 am and 5 pm. IF YOU NOMINATE A PERSON ON YOUR BEHALF TO ACCEPT THE ITEM, PLEASE PROVIDE US WITH THE DETAILS OF THAT PERSON INCLUDING IDENTIFICATION FOR SECURITY PURPOSES.
We cannot deliver to PO Box or Parcel Locker addresses.
In the case of any changes to your delivery address notified to us after your order has been shipped you will be responsible for all costs associated with redirection of your order to the new address. In the case of international shipping, any additional duties, taxes, fees, shipping charges and any other charges incurred as a result of the redirection will be payable by you.

For shipping within Australia, we use Australia Post Platinum Service.
6. SHIPPING PRICES
DesignGold offers free shipping for all orders shipped within Australia.
7. CURRENCY, DUTIES AND TAXES
All prices shown on the website are in Australian dollars. All purchases will be made and charged in Australian dollars. Goods and Services Tax is charged at 10% and is included in the final retail price shown on the website.
When you are making payment for an item on the website, your financial institution may charge you certain fees, DesignGold will not be responsible for these fees.
For most engagement rings on the website, the centre diamond shown is the most competitive/lowest price available. However, should you wish to upgrade the size or quality please talk to us and we will do our best to match your budget.
8. ITEM AVAILABILITY
Occasionally stock levels are not up-to-date on our website which means items may not be available at the time of purchase. Whilst the likelihood of this occurring is extremely rare, if this occurs to an item in your order, you will be notified by phone or email as soon as possible and offered a suitable replacement or a full refund.
9. CHANGES / CANCELLATIONS TO ORDERS
If you require any changes to your order including incorrect address details and/or ring sizing, contact DesignGold immediately.
Once production has commenced, no changes or cancellations to an order is possible.
If your order has already been processed, DesignGold accepts no responsibility for incorrect details (such as ring size) being entered.
Shipments that are rejected by the receiver will result in you incurring redirection fees.
DesignGold reserves the right to cancel any order after purchase.
If you change your mind after receiving the item, we do not offer a refund, however, we can help you design according to your specifications.
10. ORDER DETAILS AND PAYMENTS
Order details are available in order confirmation emails, and in My Account for clients who were logged in when placing their order. Alternatively contact DesignGold for orders placed on our website.
Transaction processing is based in Australia and your bank.
10.1 CREDIT CARD DETAILS
At DesignGold we do not process, collect or keep your credit card details. We use a financial institution named "STRIPE" ( https://stripe.com ) which is used by millions of trading companies for credit card processing.
11. ID CHECKS
We conduct ID checks on orders at random for your own security. If your order is selected our Customer Service team will be in touch to request further information from you, which may be a electronic copy of an identification document.
12. SALE POLICY
No further offers or discounts are applicable to items on our website that are on sale. Sale only includes selected styles. Sale prices are valid for items shipped within Australia only.
13. RETURN POLICY
Under Australian consumer law you have certain rights to return or have repaired goods defective in materials and/or workmanship or goods unfit for purpose.
In addition to these rights under Australian consumer law, if you are not completely satisfied with any item purchased from the website you can return the item provided that it is in its original condition with the DesignGold product tag intact, within 14 days of the date of shipment for a refund or an exchange.
For the avoidance of doubt, this 14 day money back guarantee does not apply to custom made goods purchased from us.
Once we receive your returned item and we accept it, we will process your refund or despatch new item within a few days.
When we receive your returned item, we will examine the item. Items showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized (by anyone other than DesignGold), or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. We cannot accept the return of diamonds that are laser inscribed.
If you simply change your mind after receiving the item, we do not offer a refund, however, we can help you design a new item according to your specifications. This will not be free of charge.
We will not accept any returns without a DesignGold return authorisation code or packages that are not properly packaged or uninsured.
The process for returning a diamond or a jewellery item to DesignGold is:
Step 1: Obtain a return authorisation code by calling DesignGold. Write this code on the bottom of your original invoice.
Step 2: Package your return by including:
original invoice (with return authorisation code at the bottom);
(1) original valuation certificate where supplied;
(2) original diamond grading certificate where supplied;
(3) all original packaging and collateral material.
(b) If your item was delivered with a valuation certificate and that certificate is not returned, you may be liable for the $150 replacement cost.
(c) If your item was delivered with a diamond grading certificate and that certificate is not returned, you may be liable for the $500 replacement cost.
For security reasons, do not write DesignGold OR JEWELLERY anywhere on the outside of the package.
Step 3: Returns can be sent, via an insured method, directly to:

You must insure the package. DO NOT MENTION “JEWELLERY” ON THE PACKAGE.
You must follow these instructions exactly, failure to do so will prevent the processing of your return.
Your own return postage costs are not refundable. Items exchanged will be re-sent at our cost.

All rights are reserved.
On the website some items, including centre diamonds, may appear slightly larger or smaller than actual size due to lighting defaults and photography techniques. The website does not auto-adjust the size of the centre diamond when the centre diamond selection is changed.
Other items may be represented at a larger than actual size in order to clearly show details, or smaller than actual size in order to show the entire item.

The website is provided by us on an "as is" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the website, or its content or any of the products made available on the website.
